The Merits Of Self-Evaluation when Searching For Job.

Self-appraisal can encourage employees to become brave of areas where they need to put more effort and it can show attitudes and basis a manger might never guess from observation.

Below are the needs for self-evaluation;

i. Self-evaluation helps the job seeker gain access to his capabilities in respect of the job he intends going for.

ii. The applicant is able to know whether he has the right qualification for the job.

iii. He will consider the job conditions and know whether or not he can accept the job.

iv. He examines and ensures whether or not he has the required competencies to keep away embarrassment on the job.

v. Self-appraisal helps the job seeker know whether he can put in an extra time at work when that is needed.

vi. Self-evaluation will help the job seeker to know whether he/she would be able to adapt to an entirely different geographical location where job is made available.

vii. It can help applicants feel assured with relevant job information and how to use them in career planning and development.

viii. It uses the appropriate tools, inventories, and tests in helping the job seekers to understand more about relevant issues in their chosen career and to use such knowledge in picking the right job.
